Round 3 for the Slovenian Cup took us to Psunj in Croatia. This is an interesting track with a pedally start, taking you too some nice jumps, then into a fast wooded middle section, ending with some steep chutes with lots of rocks and roots, it was quite a challenge to make this track flow, but that’s all part of the fun! Isn’t it? Weather was great all weekend, it never seems to rain in Croatia which makes for dry and dusty tracks. I took 3rd in masters which I was pretty pleased with after a crash on one of the steeper sections lost me some time.
Congratulations to Dale Russell(Steve Peat Syndicate) over from the UK trying to collect some precious UCI points enabling him to race the world cup, with a 6th place overall he is probably on his way to Mount Saint Anne in Canada by now. Some more pictures and video from race.
